Hollywood is a region in the province of Los Angeles, California in United States of America located between the west and northwest of downtown Los Angeles. Reason for her fame and movie studios and the presence of international stars in, is the historic center of the American Cinema and American representatives. Use the word «Hollywood» often as a metaphor for cinema in the United States.
On February 16, 2005, members of the Association of California introduced a bill requiring the State of California to save records to Hollywood as if they were independent in spite of that it is not usually the city of Los Angeles that you set limits for certain areas or neighborhoods. To do so is the definition of the border. And unanimously approved the bill by the Chamber of Commerce in Hollywood and Los Angeles City Council. And was approved by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on August 28, 2006 and is now the border areas of Hollywood official.
